ITINERARY
Day 1: Departure → Cairo Airport (CAI) → Group hotel
Your exciting journey begins as soon as you land at Cairo CAI Airport. Today is a free day for you to relax and explore at your own pace. After airport pick up, you will be taken to your hotel to rest. Note: Today’s meals are self-catering. Free airport pick up times are: 12:00pm, 2:00pm, 5:00pm and 8:00pm. This is the time for guests to meet our staff after baggage claim. We will not wait for anyone to come later. Private airport pick-up costs 50 euros per person (minimum two people). Our foreign driver will pick you up and drop you off at the hotel according to the actual flight arrival time. Reference hotel: Le Passage Hotel or similar.
Day 2: Cairo Group Hotel → Giza → Cairo
After breakfast, we will head to the Giza archaeological site to visit the famous Pyramids of Giza, including the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Pyramid of Khafre, the Pyramid of Menkaure and the Great Sphinx. You will feel the grandeur of ancient times from the existing majestic ruins. After a Chinese lunch, we will head to the Egyptian Museum to see the numerous world treasures, displaying the height of ancient Egypt’s prosperity, and the 11kg pure gold mask and coffin. 110kg pure gold of young pharaoh Tutankhamun. Day 3: Cairo → Cairo CAI Airport → Aswan → Cruise Port
This morning, we will take a flight to Aswan to begin our four-day three-night Nile cruise. After arriving, we will board the cruise ship and check in. Enjoy a local lunch, then visit the Aswan Dam, Temple of Philae and ride a falucca to see a beautiful botanical island on the Nile River. In the afternoon, return to the port, have dinner at your own expense on the cruise ship. You can go to the nearby Aswan ancient market in the evening. * Optional activities: if time allows, you can choose to go to Nubian village or Nubian Museum with the guidance of a tour guide. Day 4: Aswan → Luxor
After breakfast on the cruise, the group will visit the Kom Ombo Temple, also known as the “Twin Temple”, built 2,300 years ago on the banks of the Nile River, worshiping the falcon-headed god Horus and the crocodile. Sobek god. After the visit, we will return to the cruise ship and continue to Edfu. Have dinner at your own expense on the cruise ship.

Day 5: Luxor → Edfu
After the cruise ship arrives at Edfu, we will get off the train and take a local horse-drawn carriage (about 15 minutes) to visit Edfu Temple, known as the best-preserved ancient Egyptian temple. The walls of the main hall are carved with myths about Horus and scenes of ancient life, making this an unforgettable experience. Reference hotel: 5-star luxury cruise ship Sarah Cruise or similar. Day 6: Edfu to Hurghada
The cruise ended this morning. After disembarking, we will visit the west bank of the Nile and see the hidden tombs and temples of the Valley of the Kings, the colossal statue of Memnon, Egypt’s first female pharaoh. Temple of Hatshepsut, the largest temple complex in the world, Karnak, and Luxor Temple with the guidance of our tour guide. After the tour, we will enjoy a local Chinese lunch. In the afternoon, the car takes the group to the famous resort city of Hurghada on the Red Sea coast. After checking in, we will enjoy a rich self-service buffet dinner. Reference hotel: AMC Royal Hotel or similar. Meals: Breakfast on the cruise, lunch with local Asian dishes and dinner at the hotel.
Day 7: Hurghada
Enjoy a full day of free time to relax and unwind! Take advantage of the water, beaches and sunshine of the Red Sea. You can sunbathe on the hotel’s beach, swim in the sea to see fish and coral, or participate in various optional activities for an additional fee, such as taking a boat trip for diving, a submarine ride or glass-bottomed boat to see the coral and fish of the Red Sea, or drive through the desert on a quad bike. Enjoy your vacation in your own way! Relax and listen to the sounds of the Red Sea at this beautiful resort-style hotel. Day 8: Hurghada → Cairo
After breakfast, we will return to Cairo by car. We will have lunch at a rest stop on the highway. We will arrive in the New Cairo district around 4pm. As part of Egypt’s “Vision 2030” plan, the new administrative capital of Egypt is located on the outskirts of Cairo and covers an area of 700 square kilometers. It is an ambitious large-scale infrastructure project and will feature the tallest skyscraper in Africa. We will explore the local business district of New Cairo and experience the lifestyle of the new wealthy Egyptians, with free time to shop. For dinner, we will go to a Chinese restaurant. Day 9: Cairo
Contrast between ancient and modern! Yesterday we roamed in modern New Cairo, and today we will experience the ancient Islamic city of Egypt by visiting the Saladin Citadel and the Mohamed Ali Mosque inside the city (a mosque in the city). Turkish-style church with intricate plasterwork). After the tour, we will enjoy a local lunch and then visit Coptic Old Cairo to see the hanging church and Khan el-Khalili market, the largest local market showcasing Egyptian culture and way of life. Day 10: Hotel → Cairo Airport (CAI)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport. Free airport shuttle service will be arranged by the guide in groups or in groups. The free shuttle service operates at 07:00, 09:00 and 11:00 in the morning and late arrivals will not have to wait. Independent shuttle service is also available at a cost of 50 euros per person (minimum two). The foreign driver will drop you off at the airport 4 hours in advance based on the actual flight departure time. Note: Breakfast is included for today only.
Guided Tour 10 Days Exploring Ancient & Modern Egypt
Tour members can decide to participate in meals, attractions or self-sufficient programs depending on their personal preferences. It’s not a mandatory requirement, but each person must pay a total of 10 euros in tips to the guide and driver per day. Ticket prices for attractions are for reference only and actual ticket prices at the attraction’s official website will apply. Please pay in cash for the price guide.
Notes:
- For domestic flights, passengers are only allowed to bring 23kg of checked baggage. If it is exceeded, tour members can store excess baggage at hotels in Cairo.
- Excess baggage left in the hotel in Cairo can only hold normal clothes! Do not store valuables inside!
- Includes three meals a day (excluding airport transfers).
- Visas to enter Egypt – Depending on your individual nationality, “passengers with a passport from certain countries” require a visa to enter Egypt. Guests can apply for an e-visa online in advance or obtain a “visa on arrival” at “Egyptian customs” upon arrival, at their own expense of USD 25 in cash. E-visa website: If a visa is required, after the guest pays, we will provide the visa information to the guest.
